The Master in World Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development is a one-year program that focuses on the essential knowledge and competencies needed to design projects in the cultural field with particular attention to sustainable development issues and new models of conservation and integrated management. The program is part of the activities of the UNESCO Chair on Economics of Culture and Heritage: Strategies for Protection and Development at the University of Torino.Central to the program is the application of culture-related UNESCO Conventions (World Heritage, Intangible Heritage, Diversity of Cultural Expressions) and programmes (Creative Cities, Man and Biosphere, Global Geoparks, Memories of the World) in order to investigate the economic, social, institutional and legal challenges for their implementation at the local level. Master participants are expected to acquire skills related to cultural planning and its impact on local development processes.

The Master in Cultural Property Protection in Crisis Response is aimed at strengthening the international efforts and enhancing cooperation to face emerging challenges towards the protection of cultural heritage from conflicts, illicit activities, natural disasters and climate change impact, and for enhancing the social and economic recovery capacity of the affected communities.
The program is part of the activities of the UNESCO Chair on Economics of Culture and Heritage: Strategies for Protection and Development at the University of Torino.
