Geronimo Stilton’s A Thousand Wonders. A Journey to Discover Italy

The famous mouse journalist is the protagonist of a special volume dedicated to the beauties of our country, distributed to Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes and which you can browse through on the Italiana portal.

There is a new mouse-tastic treasure hunt dedicated to the beauties of Italy. The protagonist is Geronimo Stilton – the mouse journalist most loved by children all over the world, born from an idea of Elisabetta Dami – who explores our country in a new 224-page book entitled Mille Meraviglie Viaggio alla scoperta dell’Italia (A Thousand Wonders. A Journey to Discover Italy).

A special project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, produced by Edizioni Piemme-Mondadori Libri, with the aim of introducing girls and boys from all over the world to the artistic and cultural wonders of Italy. Accompanied by his entire family, in Mille Meraviglie Geronimo Stilton travels the country to discover cities, villages, stories and landscapes. From Rome to Venice, from the Apennines to the Alps, the friendly reporter visits the most famous monuments and places (including many of Italy’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites), without forgetting the hidden gems: lesser-known treasures, gastronomic specialities, places of scientific research, craftsmanship and industrial products. An adventure imagined as a real treasure hunt, full of games, curiosities and surprises.

Published in four languages (Italian, French, Spanish, and English), in collaboration with Atlantyca Entertainment for the international editions, and with 16,000 copies printed, the special edition of Mille Meraviglie is an exclusive publication for the cultural network of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: the Embassies, Consulates, Italian Cultural Institutes and Schools abroad.

The digital version can be viewed on the portal Italiana following this link, together with a fantastic digital passport to download and fill in to follow in the footsteps of our hero’s adventure to discover the thousand Italian wonders.
